Important Notice to Patients
Due to staff shortages caused by sickness absence, we are currently experiencing delays in preparing medications. In addition, ongoing supply issues are contributing to further delays.
At present, we require 3 working days to process and prepare Repeat Prescriptions.
We kindly ask for your cooperation with the following:
- Please order your prescriptions on time.
- Do not request early collections, as we are unable to process these ahead of schedule.
- If you have completely run out of your medication, you may request a limited emergency supply by calling 111.
Our staff are working extremely hard to ensure all patients receive their prescriptions as promptly as possible. We greatly appreciate your support in helping us manage this by ordering on time and avoiding early requests.
Please note: You will receive a text message when your prescription is ready for collection.
Kindly do not visit or call to check unless you have received this notification.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
You and Your General Practice
You and Your General Practice (YYGP) has been developed to help patients understand what to expect from their general practice and how they can get the best from their GP team. YYGP also enables patient to provide feedback or raise concerns with their GP Practice, Healthwatch or the Integrated Care Board (ICB).
To find out more please see the You and Your General Practice document published on the NHS England website.
The document is also available in other languages, see Translated versions of the You and Your General Practice document.
