Out of Hours, Emergencies & NHS Direct
Out of Hours
 The Out of Hours Service operates when the GP surgery is closed:
The practice will be open from 8.15 am to 6.15 pm Monday to
Friday, available by telephone from 8.00 am to 6.30 pm, and closed 12.30
pm to 1.30 pm on Wednesdays. Patients will no longer be able to have
appointments at the surgery on a Saturday morning. Patients who require medical attention outside of normal opening hours
should telephone 01785 850226 to contact the Out of Hours Service,
which is operated by the Staffordshire Ambulance Service. Your call will
be automatically diverted to the Out of Hours Service who will be
able to offer you appropriate medical care either by arranging for a
community paramedic or GP to visit you at home, arrange for am appointment
at the Out of Hours Centre in Stafford, or offer you appropriate advise.

In dire emergencies e.g. sudden severe chest pain or loss of consciousness
we advise dialling 999 for an ambulance before ringing the doctor.
